The Ijara Card is a Proprietary Private Label card that allows customers to enter into Ijara (Leasing) transactions with Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain), for the purchase of any durable goods from approved merchant vendors.
What are the durable goods? |

These are basically all types of furniture, electronics, including TVs, DVDs, house wares e.g. mixers, toasters, white appliances like refrigerators, washing machines & ovens; computers and its accessories. Detailed list can be obtained.
Am I required to make the purchases at selected merchant outlets? |

Yes, all purchases must be made at approved merchants accepting the Ijara card who have displayed the Ijara logo. Detailed approved merchant list can be obtained.
How many outlets currently are there? |

Currently we have over 300 outlets. All of these merchants are reputable outlets that sells approved list of durable goods.
Where can I find these merchants? |
 |
A list of the approved merchants will always be available in the website, and you will receive an updated list from time to time.
What is the Ijara rate? |
 |
The Ijara rate will be 0.7 % per month on a flat basis.
Can I choose the Ijara period to be less or more than 24 months? |
 |
Yes, you have the option to choose an Ijara period from 1 - 24 months.
How are my monthly Ijara installments determined? |
 |
Your monthly Ijara installments will comprise of the principle, and the Ijara profit, which are equally distributed over the Ijara period.
Will I be charged profit if I paid for the purchase amount during the first billing cycle? |
 |
No, if you make a full payment of the purchase amount, during the first billing cycle, the full profit amount will be waived.
